Rice prices today, November 3, in the Mekong Delta continue to trend downward for rice. Traders almost stopped buying, waiting for prices to drop further before buying.

Today’s rice price on November 3 in the Mekong Delta region adjusted down for raw rice, while the price of finished rice adjusted up.

Accordingly, in the An Giang area, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, IR 504 rice fluctuates around 8,700 – 8,800 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is at 8,800 – 8,900 VND/kg; Long An sticky rice (dried) at 9,400 – 9,800 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is at 8,900 – 9,000 VND/kg; OM 18 fluctuates around 8,700 – 8,800 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice maintained at 8,800-9,000 VND/kg; Nhen (dried) 15,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is stable at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; An Giang sticky rice (dried) is at 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg.

The rice market today continues to decline. Accordingly, at export warehouses in Dong Thap and An Giang, prices of many types of raw rice decreased by 50 VND/kg. Specifically, the price of raw rice OM 5451 decreased by 50 VND/kg to 13,500 – 13,600 VND/kg.

For the remaining categories, prices are flat. Accordingly, OM 380 raw rice is at 13,000 – 13,050 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice remains stable around 13,100 – 13,150 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the price of finished rice OM 5451 increased by 200 VND/kg to 15,650 – 15,750 VND/kg.

At the market rice channel, the price of raw rice OM 18 and Dai Thom 8 decreased by 100 VND/kg to 14,000 – 14,200 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice reduced to 13,700 – 13,800 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg.

For the remaining rice types, prices went sideways. Accordingly, IR 504 raw rice is at 13,200 – 13,300 VND/kg; OM 380 rice maintains around 13,100 – 13,200 VND/kg; Raw rice ST 21 and ST 24 maintain around the mark of 14,300 – 14,400 VND/kg.

With by-products today, the price of by-products does not fluctuate. Accordingly, the price of IR 504 panels is at 13,000 – 13,200 VND/kg; The price of dry bran remains stable at 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg.

Recorded in the Mekong Delta region today, new rice transactions are slow, rice prices tend to decrease slightly due to falling rice prices. Traders almost stopped buying to wait for prices to drop further.

In the rice market, the rice source is stable. Today’s rice price has decreased by 50 – 100 VND/kg. Warehouses buy on a budget.

At retail markets, the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice is 19,500 VND/kg; Nhen rice fluctuates around 26,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice is stable at 16,000 – 18,500 VND/kg; Regular rice is usually priced at 12,000 – 14,000 VND/kg; Common white rice 16,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice 18,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 19,500 VND/kg; Squirrel rice usually costs 16,000 – 17,000 VND/kg; Thai squirrel rice 18,500 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam’s export rice prices today continue to trend sideways. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current export price of 5% broken rice is at 653 USD/ton; The price of 25% broken rice fluctuates around 638 USD/ton.
