Accordingly, currently OM 18 rice is being purchased by traders in the fields at 6,500 – 6,800 VND/kg; An Giang fresh sticky rice is being purchased by traders at 7,000 – 7,200 VND/kg; Fresh Long An sticky rice 7,850 – 8,000 VND/kg; OM 5451 6,400 – 6,600 VND/kg; Aromatic 8 6,800 – 6,900 VND/kg; 9 flowers 6,900 – 7,200 VND/kg; Long An dry sticky rice costs 9,000 – 9,200 VND/kg, An Giang dry sticky rice price ranges from 8,400 – 8,600 VND/kg; Japanese rice 7,800 – 7,900 VND/kg; IR 504 rice is at 6,200 – 6,300 VND/kg; 9 flowers 6,600 – 6,800 VND/kg; Dry IR 504 rice remains at 6,500 VND/kg.

For rice products, prices of raw rice and finished products remain stable. Currently, the price of raw rice is at 9,200 – 9,300 VND/kg; Finished rice 10,000 – 10,100 VND/kg.

Similarly, with by-products, by-product prices also tend to go sideways. Currently, the plate price is at 9,300 VND/kg; Dry bran is at 8,100 – 8,200 VND/kg.

At retail markets, the price of rice is usually 11,500 – 12,500 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice 15,000 – 16,000 VND/kg; Regular Soc rice 14,000 VND/kg; sticky rice 14,000 – 15,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice 20,000 VND/kg; Long-grain fragrant rice costs 18,000 – 19,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai Rice 19,000 VND/kg; Common white rice 14,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 17,500 VND/kg; Soc Thai 18,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 20,000 VND/kg; Bran 7,000 – 8,000 VND/kg.

According to traders, the amount of raw rice arriving today is small, warehouse purchases are stable. The rice market is stable, rice prices are high, farmers offer winter-spring rice in Can Tho and An Giang for stable transactions.

In the rice export market, the export price of 5% broken rice continues to increase. Specifically, according to the Vietnam Food Association, the offering price of 5% broken rice for export is at 458 USD/ton, an increase of 5 USD/ton. Meanwhile, 25% broken rice maintained at 438 USD/ton.
