For the remaining rice varieties, prices went sideways. Accordingly, Dai Thom 8 rice maintains around 9,400 – 9,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is stable at 9,400 – 9,500 VND/kg; IR 504 rice remains stable at 8,800 – 9,000 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuates around 8,600 – 8,800 VND/kg.

For sticky rice products, dried An Giang sticky rice is stable around 9,400 – 9,800 VND/kg; Dry Long An sticky rice is priced at 9,400 – 9,800 VND/kg.

In the rice market, rice prices today leveled off and moved sideways after an upward adjustment session. At retail markets, today rice often fluctuates around 16,000 – 16,500 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice 26,000 VND/kg; long-sliced ​​pineapple 19,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice 17,000 – 19,000 VND/kg; Huong jasmine rice 19,500 VND/kg; Common white rice 17,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice 19,500 VND/kg; Soc rice usually costs 18,500 – 19,500 VND/kg; Thai squirrel rice 28,500 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 22,000 VND/kg.

It is noted that in today’s rice market, transactions of Autumn-Winter rice are slow, most are waiting to be cut, and the quantity still traded is very small. Winter-Spring rice transactions are sporadic, with a lot of demand for rice to be cut during Tet.

With rice, today’s transactions are sporadic, sales are moderate. As for sticky rice, demand is still low, factories mainly offer market products. The price of sticky rice has dropped and there are few sources.

As for by-products, today they continue to move sideways. Currently, the price of OM 5451 plate remains at 11,700 – 11,800 VND/kg and dry bran is stable around 6,600 – 6,700 VND/kg.

On the export market, Vietnam’s export rice price remained flat at 658 USD/ton for 5% broken rice and 643 USD/ton for 25% broken rice.
