Businesses said that this is a high price and that Vietnam is continuing to benefit from exports because many countries have a large demand for rice imports.

In particular, in the ASEAN market, according to statistics of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Indonesia alone, in the first 5 months of this year, this country imported nearly 400,000 tons of rice from Vietnam, an increase of 15 times over the same period last year.

According to experts, the reason this country increased rice imports was due to a prolonged drought, caused by the El Nino weather phenomenon. Not only Indonesia but also Southeast Asian countries and many countries around the world will increase their imports of Vietnamese rice in the near future. However, in order to export, businesses need to meet the quality and packaging requirements of your country on the one hand, and on the other hand, calculate the balance to ensure food security in the country.
