Meanwhile, for the remaining rice products, prices went sideways. Currently Dai Thom 8 rice is at 8,900 – 9,000 VND/kg; OM 18 fluctuates around 8,700 – 8,800 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice maintained at 8,800-9,000 VND/kg; Nhen (dried) 15,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is stable at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; An Giang sticky rice (dried) is at 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg.
The rice market today adjusted upward for many rice products. Accordingly, in Dong Thap, the price of OM 380 raw rice increased by 50 VND/kg to 13,050 – 13,100 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice increased by 200 VND/kg to 13,550 – 13,650 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg; Taiwanese raw rice 8, OM 18 increased by 50 VND/kg to 13,750 – 13,850 VND/kg. Finished rice IR 504 is at 15,400 – 15,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg. IR 504 raw rice alone remains stable around 13,100 – 13,200 VND/kg.

With by-products also continuing to increase, the price of IR 504 panels is currently at 13,000 – 13,200 VND/kg, an increase of 200 VND/kg; The price of dry bran remained stable at 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg.
It was noted that in the Mekong Delta region today, the Fall-Winter rice market traded sporadically, with more demand for rice cut in late November and early December. However, it is difficult for traders to buy large quantities. For rice near the cutting date, demand for buying is slow due to high prices, most of which have already been deposited.
In the rice market, today the rice supply is low, trading is moderate, factories offer little, warehouses buy at stable prices.
At retail markets, the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice is 19,500 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Nang Nhen rice went sideways and fluctuated around 26,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice is stable at 16,000 – 18,500 VND/kg; Regular rice is usually priced at 12,000 – 14,000 VND/kg; Common white rice 16,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice 18,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 19,500 VND/kg; Squirrel rice usually costs 16,000 – 17,000 VND/kg; Thai squirrel rice 18,500 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 22,000 VND/kg.
In the export market, Vietnam’s export rice prices went sideways. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current export price of 5% broken rice is at 643 USD/ton; The price of 25% broken rice fluctuates stably around 628 USD/ton.
