Specifically, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, IR 504 rice is at 7,300 – 7,500 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is at 7,400 – 7,500 VND/kg; Long An fresh sticky rice fluctuates around 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; Fresh 3-month sticky rice at 7,900 – 8,200 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuates around 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg, Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates around 7,500 – 7,700 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is at 7,600 – 7,800 VND/kg; Japanese rice 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities such as An Giang, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, the price of raw rice in Sa Dec was purchased by all warehouses, the price inched up compared to yesterday. As for sticky rice in An Giang, the price is stable, market rice transactions are slow. Demand for hybrid sticky rice is strong, prices are stable.

In An Cu, (Cai Be, Tien Giang), the price of raw rice OM 18 is at 12,500 – 12,600 VND/kg; Taiwan fragrant rice 8 at 12,900 – 13,000 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice fluctuates around 11,900 – 12,000 VND/kg; OM 380 11,500 – 11,700 VND/kg; Japanese raw rice at 12,700 – 12,800 VND/kg; ST 21 raw rice at 14,000 – 14,100 VND/kg; ST 24 raw rice is at 14,500 – 14,700 VND/kg.

In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the price of beautiful fragrant rice is 12,000 – 12,100 VND/kg; Beautiful OM 5451 rice fluctuates around 11,400 – 11,600 VND/kg; IR 504 rice at 11,300 – 11,500 VND/kg; OM 380 at 11,900 – 12,200 VND/kg; RVT is at 12,700 – 13,200 VND/kg.

At retail markets, rice prices are flat. Accordingly, rice prices usually fluctuate around 14,000 – 15,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice 17.00 – 18.000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice 26,000 VND/kg; long-sliced pineapple 19,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong jasmine rice 21,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam’s rice export price today remains stable. According to the Vietnam Food Association VFA, standard 5% broken rice is at 579 USD/ton; 25% broken rice at 557 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is stable at 478 USD/ton.
