Rice price today January 13, 2024: Rice price leveled off, rice price decreased

It was recorded that rice prices today, January 13, in the domestic market were stable and adjusted sharply down from 50 – 500 VND/kg for rice prices.

Rice prices today, January 13, in the Mekong Delta region were adjusted to decrease sharply for rice products.

Accordingly, in An Cu, Cai Be (Tien Giang), the price of raw rice OM 18, Dai Thom 8 is at 14,700 – 14,900 VND/kg, down 50 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice fluctuates around 14,300 – 14,500 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg; ST 24 is at 18,500 – 19,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg.

In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice prices of all kinds also decreased. Accordingly, fragrant rice is at 14,00 – 14,500 VND/kg, down 200 VND/kg; beautiful fragrance 14,500 – 14,700 VND/kg, down 200 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice 14,300 – 14,500 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg; IR 504 is at 13,000 – 13,100 VND/kg, down 200 VND/kg; ST 24 rice decreased by 500 VND/kg to 18,200 – 18,700 VND/kg; ST 21 decreased by 300 VND/kg, down to 17,500 – 17,800 VND/kg.

For rice products, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of IR 504 rice is at 8,900 – 9,100 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice maintained around the mark of 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg; OM 18 at 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg; OM 5451 at 9,500 – 9,700 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 remains stable at 9,500 – 9,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuates around 8,600 – 8,800 VND/kg.

At export warehouses, rice prices did not fluctuate. Accordingly, the price of IR 504 Vietnamese raw rice remains at 13,050 – 13,150 VND/kg; Raw rice fluctuates at 12,900 – 13,000 VND/kg; Soc Trang raw rice at 12,250 – 12,350 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice at 13,700 – 13,800 VND/kg; Raw rice OM 18, Dai Thom 8 at 14,050 – 14,150 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam’s export rice prices continue to decrease with 25% broken rice. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 25% broken rice is at 624 USD/ton, down 1 USD/ton, while 5% broken rice remains stable at 653 USD/ton.
