Regarding rice products, rice prices today maintain a sideways trend. In the export market, Vietnam’s export rice prices remain stable. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 25% broken rice is at 610 USD/ton; 5% broken rice at 637 USD/ton.
Many export businesses predict that with extreme climate change and a number of political events and conflicts in the world, rice scarcity in 2024 will continue to occur. However, some rice exporting countries are actively looking for solutions to overcome the rice shortage in the coming years.
Therefore, in 2024, if rice exports want to continue to win big, we must make good use of opportunities, quickly limit shortcomings to seize “golden” opportunities, and set rare records in history such as 2023.
