In the export market, export rice prices stagnated and tended to move sideways after an upward adjustment session. According to the Vietnam Food Association, the offering price of 5% broken rice for export is at 448 USD/ton; 25% broken rice at 433 USD/ton.

Forecasts and actual developments show that Vietnamese rice continues to expand export routes in both traditional and new markets. This is good news for rice growers in the Mekong Delta at the end of the year.

In fact, of the more than 6 million tons of rice exported recently, Vietnamese rice was mainly sold to the Philippine market, accounting for 2.74 million tons, China 757,575 tons, and Ivory Coast 588,621 tons. However, these markets are currently showing many signs of continued increase in import demand.

Specifically, although by early November 2022 the Philippines had imported 3.243 million tons of rice, in the near future, this country will continue to import more due to continuous destruction by super storms, affecting national rice productivity. paternal.
