In Soc Trang, the price has increased and decreased depending on the type such as: Radio aromatic 8 at 8,100 VND/kg, up 100 VND/kg; RVT is 8,100 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg; OM 5451 alone remained at 7,800 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, at retail markets, rice prices have not been adjusted. Specifically, intestinal sticky rice remains stable at 14,000 – 16,000 VND/kg. Rice usually costs 11,000 – 12,000 VND/kg.

Nang Nhen rice is priced at 22,000 VND/kg. Long grain Thai fragrant rice maintains 18,000 – 19,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice costs 15,000 – 16,000 VND/kg.

Huong Lai rice costs 19,000 VND/kg; Common white rice costs 14,500 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice costs 18,500 VND/kg; Soc rice usually fluctuates from 14,000 to 15,000 VND/kg.
