According to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, today’s rice prices simultaneously decreased from 300 – 400 VND/kg.

Specifically, IR 50404 rice price fluctuates around 7,400 – 7,600 VND/kg (down 400 VND); Dai Thom 8 rice price is 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg (down 300 VND); OM 5451 rice price is stable at 7,600 – 7,700 VND/kg (down 300 VND); OM 18 rice is priced at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg (down 300 VND); OM 380 ranges from 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg (down 400 VND).

The remaining rice varieties moving sideways include: Japanese rice at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 costs 7,600 – 7,700 VND/kg; Long An sticky rice (dry) is stable at 9,800 – 10,500 VND/kg and Nang Nhen rice (dry) is at 20,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities in the Mekong Delta today, demand for rice is still slow due to low recovery. Trading of all types of dry rice is weak, prices are stable.

For rice products, prices recorded a flat trend. Currently IR 504 Summer-Autumn raw rice fluctuates around 11,200 – 11,350 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice is at 13,400 – 13,500 VND/kg.

There is no change in by-products. Accordingly, the price of dry bran is currently priced at 7,200 – 7,300 VND/kg; The price of OM 5451 plate remains at 10,300 – 10,400 VND/kg.

At retail markets, prices are stable and have not adjusted compared to yesterday. Currently, Jasmine rice costs 18,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice 30,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice 20,000 VND/kg; Regular rice usually fluctuates around 15,000 – 16,000 VND/kg; long-sliced ​​pineapple 19,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong jasmine rice 20,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; Common white rice 18,000 VND/kg; Soc rice usually costs 18,000 – 19,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice costs 18,500 VND/kg; Japanese rice costs 22,000 VND/kg.

On the export market, export rice prices went sideways after a downward adjustment session. According to the Vietnam Food Association, the export price of 5% broken rice today is stable at 585 USD/ton; 25% broken rice keeps the price at 558 USD/ton; 100% broken rice remained stable at 485 USD/ton.
